I like to get up close and personal with my camera. When you crop in really close to a subject, you focus the viewers full attention on those pure visual qualities that need no explanation, no identification. I especially like to isolate light and texture. These images are the most sensual and personal. They stimulate emotions more than thoughts. They are most like music without lyrics. They are art.
